Flood Relief Support in Rasuwa: Supporting Flood-Affected Communities
Following the devastating floods in Rasuwa District, Bagmati Province, Aarogya Tech, in coordination with Aarogya Nepal Tech Pvt. Ltd., mobilized an on-ground health screening initiative in Kalikasthan, Kalika Rural Municipality. The initiative focused on providing immediate health assistance to communities displaced and affected by the natural disaster.
Flood Relief Support in Rasuwa Through On-Ground Health Screening
As part of our flood relief support in Rasuwa, the Aarogya team conducted essential health checkups for more than 100 flood-affected residents, with special attention to children and elderly people who can be particularly vulnerable during disaster situations.
Using the Aarogya Tech Portable Health Monitoring Device, our team rapidly measured critical health parameters including blood pressure, oxygen saturation (SpO₂), body temperature, heart rate, and ECG. This enabled the team to obtain immediate health insights in a resource-limited environment.

Healthcare Support When Communities Need It Most
Dr. Lokendra Thakur, CEO of Aarogya Tech USA, actively led and supported the fieldwork alongside Aarogya Tech staff and local volunteers.
The initiative demonstrates the importance of accessible health monitoring during emergencies, particularly when healthcare facilities and resources may be difficult to access. By bringing portable health technology directly to affected communities, Aarogya aims to help bridge the gap between healthcare services and underserved populations.
